From Vampire Princess Miyu ep 24. A nice close up on Miyu left foot while she is following Tokiya  The scene is fast, but we can see that the foot are done with care and the toenails all defined.

Tokiya (Chisato’s big brother) is a shinma of the bird clan. Miyu isn’t sure if he is really a shinma or he is only possessed. She is confused because if she kills Tokiya surely Chisato will suffer a lot, but it’s Miyu’s duty send stray shinma back to the darkness. So she follow him through the Kimon (the demon door).
